o  Fill in with your dates of departure for the cruise and the travel (the dates can be identical for the cruise and the travel), as well as the name of the owner, the type of the boat rented, the amount of your deposit and the base of departure and clic on "Next".

o  Fill in with your information (name, seance name, address, telephone, etc..), a personal account will be automatically created and then, your information will be already filled in for your next connection. The minimum of the name, address, telephone and email address of one member ship must be filled in. Clic on "Next".

o  Please, read the general conditions of your lease. You have the option of opening the general conditions in a new webpage and print them. Clic on "Next".

WHEN COVERS BECOME EFFECTIVE ?

The covers become effective as soon as you have paid online, the receipt of the cheque or the bank transfer effective on the Groupe CSA bank account.

Mandatory material to send :

o FOR THE COVERS CANCELLATION AND INTERRUPTION OF THE CRUISE :

- Copy of your hiring contract,
- All document justifiing your sick leave, hospitalization,medical certificate,death certificate, registry office.
- Morning and afternoon weather-reports gave by the harbour-office of the starting port (in case of interruption due to the bad weather only)

o FOR THE COVER PROTECTION DEPOSIT CRUISE EN YACHT RACE (GUARANTEES B, B+ AND C) :

- Photos of the damage,
- Photos of the boat with its name readable,
- Copy of the check in and check out,
- Copy of the sea-report with details of the circumstances of damage,
- Copy of hiring contract,
- Copy or reference number of your Skipper contract,
- Attestation of the boat hire company showing the detention of your deposit,
- Original invoice paid of the repairs,
- Invoice of purchase of originals sails when they are damaged.

Other documents can be asked according to the type of damage.

2 - One a the crew member cancels his cruising, are we refund ?

 

Yes, Groupe C.S.A. reimburses the part of the crew member who cancels. In the case of, if after the first cancellation of one crew member, all the rest of the crew prefers to cancel the cruise, then we reimburse the entirety amout of the hiring (GUARANTEE A).

 

3 - What happens if the Skipper cancels ?

 

Repayment to a limit of 100 € per day of the replacement charges of the skipper named on the application form, by a professional skipper, in case of an individual cancellation before the cruise (GUARANTEES A or A bis).

 

4 - What happened when the cruise is interrupted ?

 

Repayment of interruption of cruise charges, in time proportion to the part of the services remained unused, for the journey covered, as planned in the lease, between the beginning and the ending dates of the journey (GUARANTEES A or A bis).

 

5 - What is an indemnity of re-hiring ?

 

Payment of a re-hiring indemnity equal to 30 % of the amount of the indemnity paid, if after a cruise cancellation or interruption you re-hire from the same booking company within 12 months an apply for a new Skipper contract (GUARANTEES A or A bis).

 

6 - What happens if the Skipper cannot end the cruise ?

 

When the skipper named on the application form cannot carry on the cruise, we pay back the replacement and transport charges of the new skipper ; our commitment should not exceed an indemnity of 100 € per day, from the date on which the boat is taken in charge by the new skipper (GUARANTEES A or A Bis).

 

7 - Do you reimburse the fees in case of accident ?

 

We reimburse the search, assistance, rescuing, transport and repatriation costs for whatever insured accident up to a limit of 3800 € per travel (GUARANTEES A or A bis).

 

8 - What happens if we exceed the rental time ?

 

If the leaving of the skipper during the cruise and/or material damage to the ship making it unsuitable for sailing should be the cause of an exceeding hiring time, we reimburse an indemnity equal to the daily value provided in the lease, with a maximum of four days and up to a limit of 800 € (GUARANTEES A bis).

 

9 - Does Skipper reimburse the deposit in case of an accident ?

 

If, on returning the hired boat, the hiring company notes one or several damages and therefore retains your deposit, we reimburse 80% of the amount of the retain deposit or 80% of the invoice paid and with a maximum of 5000 € for the GUARANTEE B and GUARANTEE C and we reimburse 100% of the amount of the retain deposit or 100% of the invoice paid and with a maximum of 5000 € for the GUARANTEE B+. The value of the franchise doesn’t must excess the value of the deposit. This guarantee covers any damage caused of the hired boat, except damages on the spinnaker and the annex and his engine (GUARANTEE B CRUISES, GUARANTEE B+ SAILING BOATS ONLY et GUARANTEE C YACHT RACE).

 

10 - What is the assistance to the ship ?

 

If you cannot use the obat anymore after an accident, we take in charge :

- The reimbursement of the delivery price of the in kit form necessary for the repairs of the means propulsion and the main and secondary steering of the boat. This guaranty only is acquired if the fees are invoiced from the departure harbour of the cruise or from the management base of the boat.
- The necessary advance for the pieces, refundable within the 60 days.
- The tow fees up to 500 €.
- The security fees up to 500 €.
- The organisation of the convoying and the setting up of the repatriation of the crew to the harbour planned in the contract.
- The accommodation fees up to 50 € per person and per night.

Our commitment can’t exceed an indemnity of 100 € per person.
Our complete commitment for this guaranty can’t exceed 40% of the amount of the deposit.

 

11 - Which cover in case of an accident ?

 

Yachting accident individual protection : incase of accident covers in the contract, we will compensate the policyholder or his beneficiary in the limits described below :


- Decease : 50 000 €
- Disability : 150 000 €
-­ Medicals charges : 1 000 €
-­ Daily indemnity : 120 € per day

 

12 - What are the advantages of the cover « assistance of the person » ?

 

Assistance to the person in the world: This cover makes you profit after call to the +33.(0)1.48.82.62.35 from the following advantages: medical transport/repatriation of the policyholder, accompanying during transport or the repatriation of the policyholder, repatriation of the body in the event of death of the policyholder, reimbursement of the medical expenses, put abroad at disposal of an one-way ticket/return for a close relation of the policyholder, return anticipated in the event of death of a relative of the policyholder, legal assistance abroad, penal guarantee abroad up to 7600 €, transmission of the urgent messages.

 

13 - What is the amount of our reimbursement if our things get lost ?

 

Luggage, personnal outfits and items : we guaranty to the policyholder, up to 1000 € per travel, the reimbursement of the took items, against damages and/or burglary.
